На основании изучения структуры побегов, способов их нарастания и ветвления, форми­рования и отмирания многолетних органов, а также ритма сезонного развития костреца тур­кестанского Bromopsis turkestanica определена продолжительность жизни этого плотно-дерновинного злака в условиях высокогорья Гиссарского хребта.
