Abstract:
Исследовали строение листа, число и размеры хлоропластов, содержание пигментов у березы бородавчатой в уличных посадках и в пригородном парке. Полученные данные свидетельствуют о высокой устойчивости фотосинтетического аппарата березы бородавчатой к воздействию неблагоприятных факторов городской среды. Авторы рекомендуют шире использовать данную породу в озеленении улиц города.

Name in english: Photosynthetic apparatus structure of Betula pendula (Betulaceae) in the streets and suburban park of Leningrad

Abstract in english:
The structure of the leaf, the number and size of chloroplasts, the content of pigments in the Betula pendula in street plantings and in a suburban park were studied. The obtained data testify to the high resistance of the photosynthetic apparatus of the warty birch to the impact of unfavorable factors of the urban environment. The authors recommend the wider use of this breed in the landscaping of city streets.
